Wallet identity and assets

Connection & Profile Creation.

The Interface accesses public data from the blockchain related to your Wallet to enable you to manage Digital Assets on the Orbit|Channel platform, verify your ownership of Digital Assets, and interact with underlying smart contracts. To fully access the Interface, you must link your Digital Wallet to the Portal using WalletConnect or REOWN. If you don't have a compatible wallet, you can find instructions for creating one on our help pages. We may require additional verification steps or information to complete your Profile setup.

When you connect your Digital Wallet to the Portal, we create a digital profile for you that remains permanently linked to your wallet address. Your public wallet address may be viewable on the Portal during interactions. After creating your profile, you can customize your information through the settings menu.

Profile Restrictions.

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your profile access without prior notification if we determine, at our discretion, that: (1) the profile may be involved in prohibited activities; (2) you've provided inaccurate or incomplete identification details; (3) you've engaged in suspicious transactions; or (4) you've violated any aspect of these Terms.

We may periodically request additional documentation or information. Failure to provide complete and accurate responses may result in limited access to certain Interface features. You confirm that your Interface usage complies with these Terms and applicable regulations, and you acknowledge full responsibility for all risks associated with your participation.

Wallet Security.

By linking a wallet through WalletConnect or REOWN to the Interface, you agree to the terms of your chosen wallet provider. You should thoroughly understand the security features and operational aspects of your wallet solution.

We do not provide wallet services and never take custody, possession, or control of your Digital Assets. We are not party to transactions conducted through our Interface and make no claims about compatibility with specific wallet providers. You alone are responsible for safeguarding your wallet, including all keys and access credentials. We accept no liability for security breaches or compromised wallets. You should establish contingency arrangements for wallet access in case of emergency, as failure to do so could result in permanent loss of access to your Digital Assets.

Wallet Technologies.

The Interface supports connection through industry-standard protocols like WalletConnect and specialized solutions like REOWN. These connection methods enable you to securely interact with the Orbit|Channel platform while maintaining full control of your assets. Only you can authorize transactions from your wallet.

Unlike traditional custodial solutions, Orbit|Channel never has access to your private keys, recovery phrases, passkeys, or other credentials. You maintain complete responsibility for your wallet security, authentication methods, and private keys.

Security Assistance.

If you detect unauthorized activity related to wallets connected to the Interface, please contact [email protected] immediately. However, we have no obligation to assist with wallet-related issues, including lost or inaccessible credentials, and cannot restore access to compromised wallets.
